Annette Kabia is of counsel with Parlatore Law Group and practices in the areas of business formation, intellectual property (copyright and trademark) and entertainment law, to include fashion, art, media, and sports.
She is passionate about assisting entrepreneurs and creatives with their business formation and development needs, including registering their businesses, obtaining federally protected copyrights and trademarks, and creating industry-specific contracts that properly protect their business ownership and assets. She assists clients in protecting their brand legally, so they can focus on what matters most: running their businesses! As an entrepreneur herself, Ms. Kabia has a keen understanding of the challenges so many small business owners face and is passionate about guiding creatives—strategically helping them to establish businesses and protect their brands.
Prior to joining Parlatore Law Group, Ms. Kabia was operating as a solo practice serving small business clients. She also previously forked for Big Law firm in New York City, where she successfully handled business immigration and IP litigation. She also previously worked for the United States Patent & Trademark Office, specifically with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board clerking for the Judges.
Ms. Kabia’s enthusiasm and commitment to helping creatives navigate the murky waters of entrepreneurship, make her an asset to our team in best serving the needs of small businesses. She is a member of New Jersey State Bar Association. She also sits on the Board of DSAM Museum of Artifacts & Environmental Protection Foundation.
She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
