Jennifer Hoffpauir is a Partner with Parlatore Law Group who focuses on business law, including strategic consulting, business formation and development, licensure and compliance, and employment law. Her breadth of experience, knowledge base, and intellectual curiosity enables her to ask probing questions that lead to innovative solutions. Her thorough analysis and focus on the unique needs of growing businesses makes Ms. Hoffpauir a strategic partner from initial idea to IPO.

Ms. Hoffpauir began her legal career as in-house counsel at a high growth startup, ranked #2 on the Inc. 500 in 2012. She helped lead the company through explosive growth and eventual acquisition. An experienced corporate counsel, she is well-positioned to understand the unique challenges of small and medium-sized businesses. Additionally, Ms. Hoffpauir is a trusted advisor on employment law matters. An experienced human resources leader in the highly regulated healthcare and energy sectors, she brings a high degree of business acumen to her employment law practice. She is skilled at strategic planning, internal investigations, coaching leaders through organizational changes, and resolving complex employment challenges before they lead to litigation.

Her involvement in the growing cannabis industry draws on Ms. Hoffpauir’s background in agriculture and property law. She has a published paper on the Farm Bill and has performed audits and trademark work for agricultural marketing clients. In the area of property law, she is experienced at writing zoning ordinances, negotiating property regulations, and advocating for customers’ private property rights before city councils, zoning boards and state legislatures.

When not practicing law, Ms. Hoffpauir enjoys cooking, gardening, and bicycling with her children.

She is licensed to practice in Maryland.
