Parvathi Kota, Ph.D., Esq. 

Parvathi Kota, Ph.D. is a Partner with Parlatore Law Group, focusing on intellectual property and patent law, with an extensive background in science.  Dr. Kota’s practice focuses on intellectual property transaction and licensing, patent portfolio management, preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, opinion work, due diligence, inter partes review, and patent litigation.

Dr. Kota has more than fifteen years of research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetic engineering, enzymology, protein chemistry, and biotechnology.  She worked as a research scientist in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Professor Har Gobind Khorana at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she studied structure-function relationships in rhodopsin.  Dr. Kota’s postdoctoral work with Dr. Richard Dixon focused on the genetic modification of lignin biosynthesis in alfalfa.  She identified new substrates for key enzymes in the lignin biosynthesis and proposed a new pathway for alfalfa.  Dr. Kota’s doctoral dissertation focused on the purification and regulation of photosynthetic enzymes.

With her experience in both scientific as well as legal fields, she can understand complex scientific inventions and intricate legal issues and provide strategic counseling to her clients.  She is thorough, consistent, patient, and professional, giving each case the utmost attention.  An integral part of her services is to work closely with her clients and to help them protect their intellectual property.

Ida Rose Nininger, Esq.

Ida Rose Nininger is a Partner at Parlatore Law Group and has the experience and passion to handle all your litigation, employment, real estate, civil rights, and disability needs. Her empathetic and thoughtful approach to client counsel, combined with early career experience in fast-paced New York City litigation, have molded her into a personable, yet effective attorney successfully providing legal representation across many fields of law to a variety of clients.

Ms. Nininger has both advised tenants with lease disputes, and represented small, local landlords in tenancy issues. Alison Drew, Esq.

Alison Drew is a Partner at Parlatore Law Group and a highly experienced attorney, focusing her practice on litigation and corporate law.  Mrs. Drew specializes in the areas of construction law, personal injury defense, arbitration, and contract negotiation, as well as business protection. With a strong understanding of her clients’ business operations, Mrs. Drew is prepared to handle a variety of legal issues.

N’kia, Esq.

N’kia is Counsel with Parlatore Law Group and dedicates her practice primarily to business law concerns, including business formation and development, employment, licensure, anti-competition, contract formation and disputes, and intellectual property. She also handles a variety of general civil litigation matters, with her special interest being defamation (libel and slander). Her well-rounded legal background makes her well-equipped to meet her clients’ diverse needs.
