Sarah Ikena is a Partner with Parlatore Law Group and an in-demand attorney, practicing in criminal defense, with a focus on white collar crime, federal crime, and violent crime. She has handled hundreds of felony cases, all with the same focus and intensity. With a passion for the courtroom, Ms. Ikena is a zealous advocate and a fierce defender of her clients’ rights.
Ms. Ikena has extensive felony trial experience handling violent crime cases (rape and murder specifically). As Assistant Public Defender for the Kansas State Board of Indigent Services, she carried a heavy case load, handling cases from intake to sentencing. As a felony defender, she handled felony cases at all levels and participated in numerous trials. Ms. Ikena thrives in high intensity, high pressure situations, and is prepared to work tirelessly on behalf of her clients.
Prior to joining Parlatore Law Group, Ms. Ikena spent her entire career as a criminal defense attorney. She has a wealth of experience practicing criminal law in four states. This breadth of practice has given Ms. Ikena a unique approach to fighting allegations and resolving criminal charges to the benefit of her clients. She is client focused and listens closely to the needs of her clients to achieve the outcomes that they desire.
She is a member of the Alexandria Bar Association and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
She is admitted to practice in Virginia, Georgia and Kansas.
She is also permitted to practice in the Federal Court of the Eastern District of Virginia.
She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and her six children.
