Digital Marketing Specialist for one of the most exciting, fastest growing law firms in the country.  Parlatore Law Group, LLP (PLG) is a full-service, cloud-based law firm that provides high quality legal services to individuals, startups, and small to mid-sized businesses and has experienced 800% growth so far this year, with significant press coverage of high-profile cases.  The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for further developing the branding and increasing overall visibility for PLG across emerging and traditional communication mediums, with a primary focus on social media engagement.

The ideal candidate is social media savvy, experienced in PR and communications and a good writer. He or she is passionate about digital and social media opportunities as well as traditional media engagement, and is extraordinarily proactive and self-motivated. The right candidate will also be highly comfortable working with and counseling firm partners and senior-level staff on both short-notice social media inputs and long-term communication strategies.

A required strength for this candidate will be the ability to operate with maturity and efficiency in a cloud-based, remote-work environment.  At PLG, we provide our clients with the highest quality legal services at a reasonable rate by removing many of the overhead costs associated with traditional law firms, most notably the physical offices.  By removing the offices, and all of the associated expenses, we increase our attorneys and employees’ quality of life, while passing those savings on to the clients and providing smaller businesses with access to big firm resources, that are normally unaffordable.

  • Initially, part-time with hourly pay, but with significant opportunities for growth.
  • Work is entirely remote.
  • Develops social media engagement opportunities and coordinates timely release of information based on strategic plans and reactive opportunities that will raise visibility of the firm, its practice areas, and its partners.
  • Develop and implement regular and consistent social media content schedule and content based on industry best practice
  • Monitor and report monthly on social media growth and engagement by platform
  • Stay up to date on social media platform use and engagement best practice.  Make monthly content recommendations to partners based on engagement metrics
  • Write communication materials such as press releases, media pitches, byline article abstracts, pre-briefing documents, social media posts, etc.
  • Participates in the firm’s public relations/media relations strategic development and planning.
  • Trains partners on effective use of social media tools and strategies.
  • Develops effective relationships with partners earning their trust and respect.
  • Interfaces with Business Development and partners to identify industry trends, information on matters, and newsworthy client work that we can promote.
  • Analyzes and reports back on results of PR campaigns, using the information to determine appropriate strategic adjustments.
  • Works collaboratively to help us maximize opportunities and ensure consistency of messaging.
  • Supports strategy and content development for internal and crisis communications where needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Preference for military spouses and veteran candidates.  Understanding of the military/veteran community is a must.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with social media and content marketing.
  • Public relations and communications experience, preferably with at least some experience in legal PR either at a firm or on the agency side.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape.
  • Creating graphics and working within Druple.
  • Strong news sense and knowledge of what it takes to generate impactful media coverage.
  • Experience in developing and successfully executing PR and communications plans.
  • Comfortable interacting with and counseling partners and senior-level employees.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and exceptional writing abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to successfully prioritize multiple demands and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Self-starter with an excellent work ethic and a positive, proactive style.
