Kieran McDowell is a partner at Parlatore Law Group who focuses her practice on assisting current and former military servicemembers with complex legal administrative issues. She joins the firm excited to provide her expertise in a wide area of military administrative law matters, including Performance Evaluation (Fitness Report) Appeals, Board for Correction of Naval Records Upgrades, Veterans Law Assistance, Disability Evaluation Services, Financial Support and Military Protective Order Assistance and review.

As a military spouse married to a Judge Advocate for over a decade, Ms. McDowell has seen, firsthand, the frustrations servicemembers and veterans face when confronted with complex administrative roadblocks and consequently, is determined to advocate for these men and women inside and outside of the courtroom. She previously worked with a Marine Wounded Warrior Battalion where she successfully secured benefits for servicemembers who had been fighting, in some instances, for years. From this experience and subsequent appellate successes, Ms. McDowell draws her passion to provide the best assistance to servicemembers and veterans facing similar hurdles.

Outside of her Military Administrative Law practice, Ms. McDowell also has experience in real estate law, and most recently worked for an international real estate company reviewing purchase agreements and transactional documents. Additionally, she has experience researching and appealing issues in a variety of law practices including bankruptcy, trusts and estates, and contract negotiations.

Ms. McDowell was recently admitted to the California state notary board after successfully passing the notary exam, a service with which she is proud to assist her clients and Parlatore Law Group.

She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

She lives in California with her husband, two young daughters, and absolutely insane rescue dog.
