Amanda Dempsey

Of Counsel

Amanda is of-counsel with Parlatore Law Group and practices in the field of military medical malpractice.

Amanda is dedicated to advocating for service members and their families who have been harmed by medical negligence. Amanda brings well-rounded experience from both sides of medical malpractice litigation—pursuing claims on behalf of plaintiffs as well as defending healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and nursing homes. She now specializes in administrative military medical malpractice claims under the Stayskal Act.

In addition to pursuing medical malpractice claims, Amanda serves as in-house counsel for a small Idaho-based waste remediation company. In this role, she handles contract drafting, regulatory disputes, and other administrative matters.

“I’m excited to join Parlatore Law Group because of the firm’s broad expertise, especially in military issues, which ensures that service members get the support they need, whether it’s for a medical malpractice claim, contesting military discharge, or other matters. Being able to recognize when a case is outside my expertise and quickly connect clients to the right team within the firm is truly special. It’s rewarding to be part of a group that covers so many legal needs and delivers real solutions for clients.”

Outside of her legal career, Amanda is passionate about education and working with children. Before entering the legal profession, she worked as a middle school math teacher, where she developed the communication, organization, and leadership skills that continue to serve her well in legal practice. During her teaching years, she also coached after-school boys’ and girls’ weightlifting teams and is a Level 2 certified USAW Olympic weightlifting coach.

Amanda currently resides in Boise, Idaho, and is admitted to practice in both Idaho and Indiana. When not practicing law, she can be found hiking, camping, and skiing in Idaho’s beautiful wilderness.
