Tech Startup Hyprlift Wins $250K from National Science Foundation

Parlatore Law Group is proud to support Hyprlift, Inc and extends congratulations on their recent $250k grant from the National Sciences Foundation through the Small Business Innovation Research program.  Hyprlift’s patent-pending technology improves the safety and energy efficiency of elevator cabs.

“Our revolutionary elevator drive system will transform cabs into self-propelled, high-performance electric vehicles that are not bound to a single shaft, but instead navigate autonomously throughout multiple shafts,” said Founder and CEO James Hutchinson in a Hyprlift release.

Parlatore Law Group Partner, Elana Bertram represents this Hawaii Kai-based technology startup on patent, trademark, and related matters including the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the US Patent & Trademark Office.

“I am proud of the work Jim and his team have done to bring this great concept to life. It’s a great reflection of the talent in Hawaii and I’m excited to see their next step,” said Ms. Bertram.
